Beat the Cold

The inaugural Beat the Cold Winter Triathlon took place Sunday, February 17th, on a beautiful winter morning!!

This Run / Bike / Skate event saw 200+ racers challenge the course and the conditions, while racing as solo or relay participants.   Most importantly,  by raising over $10,000 for 1JustCity‘s Just a Warm Sleep emergency warming centre, the event will provide 25 Winnipeggers with a warm place to sleep for an entire month.

Thank you to everyone who participated as a racer, official or volunteer, with a special thanks to those who fund-raised over and above their event entries.

We’ll look forward to seeing you all next year!!
